Connecting Leaders in Online Community, Technology, and Advocacy

Web of Change is the premier summit — now in its 6th year — that connects leaders in online community building, technology entrepreneurs, and social change activists.

Held at Hollyhock Retreat Centre on Cortes Island, British Columbia, Web of Change tracks the leading edge of the social technology movement and how new tools and strategies are applied to real organizations and real problems. Web of Change was the first conference of its kind to connect the technology movement with non-profit innovation and social change.

The Web of Change site was redesigned in 2006 to become an online community for current and past participants, and provide a window into the world of social technology. Communicopia sponsored 100% of the fees to develop and maintain the site.

Communicopia CEO Jason Mogus founded Web of Change with the support of Joel Solomon, President of Renewal Partners and board chair at Hollyhock. Communicopia continues to produce the conference with no management fees as part of our social mission.
