The whole continent has election fever right now. Canada's going to elect a new federal government in a few short weeks, the US election is close behind... and here in Vancouver, we're electing a mayor and city council this November. While this municipal election won't receive the same media attention as the national ones, it's actually a really important one for Vancouver.

For 10 years the United Nations Foundation's (UNF) website has taken a backseat to its multiple campaign sites, and the organization that was created by Ted Turner's astounding $1B gift to the UN played a high impact but relatively quiet role in the world. Today, that's no longer the case. Early this morning, the new UNF website was officially relaunched, a labour of love from all of us at Communicopia, and a huge new step forward for the UN Foundation.
